Martinsville Man Faces Invasion, Sex Assault Charges

A Clark County man faces multiple charges, including home invasion and sexual assault.
Court records allege that, 27-year-old Albert Appleton broke into a home in Martinsville on February 29th and punched and kicked one person in the body and head.
They also allege he sexually assaulted two other people.
A judge set Appleton's bond at five hundred thousand dollars and ordered him to have NO contact with the alleged victims.
The judge ordered he be kept on home confinement with electronic monitoring
Appleton is expected to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on March 25th.
