An annual memorial program honoring children who have died is planned this weekend in Coles County.
The Windows to Heaven celebration of life is this Saturday in Lumpkin Family Center for Health Education at Sarah Bush Lincoln in Mattoon.
The service is open to anyone who has suffered the loss of a child and will feature a remembrance slideshow.
Windows to Heaven is a series of handcrafted windows depicting a night sky filled with stars in the health center's chapel.
Silver stars with the names of children who have died hang in the clear sky among the other stars.
