The Better Business Bureau is warning of a scam targeting Microsoft computer users.
The scam plays off the ending of support for the Windows 7 operating system.
The BBB warns crooks may try get you to pay for an expiring windows license by calling and saying they are a Microsoft employee.
They say scammers may also try to get remote access to your computer, which would put individuals at risk of identity theft.
Microsoft says all their support requests start with customers.
