A plea is expected soon in an Effingham robbery case involving a joy ride through a local mall.
Jordan Johnston, of Shelbyville, is expected to accept a plea deal on January 23rd in relation to the robbery of Zales Jewelry Store in Village Square Mall.
Johnston is accused of driving his car through the mall, before police said he stole an undisclosed amount from the jewelry store.
He is charged with two counts of burglary.
