An accidental shooting over the weekend led to an injury in Effingham.
Effingham Police say a little after two Saturday afternoon they responded to Boos Outlet Showroom on 1703 Avenue of Mid America for a report of an employee being shot.
When they arrived, officers rendered aid to the victim, a 61-year-old man from Toledo, and waited for emergency personnel who transported him to Carle Hospital in Urbana.
Police say they've determined the shooting was an accident and are not releasing any more information at this time.
