Residents and businesses in some Illinois counties can now apply for low-interest loans to help with flood recovery.
The U.S. Small Business Administration approved the state's request for assistance to help residents and businesses in Christian, Macon, and Shelby counties recover from severe storms and floods that happened in December.
The administration says to be eligible you must have sustained major uninsured losses of forty percent or more.
More details about the loan are still being worked out by the Small Business Administration.
