A Coles County gymnastics coach accused of unauthorized videotaping at an athletic club pleads guilty.
In court Monday morning, 33-year-old Gymnastics coach Zachary Lawson pleaded guilty to placing a video recording device in the Sun Elite Club in Mattoon.
Lawson was arrested last fall after allegations of cameras in the bathroom surfaced at the club on Loxa Road.
Lawson will spend 180 days in the Coles County jail and be placed on two years probation.
A felony charge of illegal videotaping was dropped against Lawson.
