Effects of the continuing state budget stalemate are hurting local senior centers.
Embarras River Basin Agency Executive Director Marsha Roll says her office has made cuts because of state funding issues.
She says the agency can only deliver four meals days a week, instead of five.
Becasue of the budget crisis the centers are relying on local donations.
Roll says she's worried about the seniors who are on homebound, and only have contact with other people when they get their lunch delivered.
She says that the centers help the seniors stay in their homes so they don't have to go to a nursing home.
Roll says they're looking at their budgets each month, and want to be able to operate five days again.
