Several agencies arrest six individuals in connection with vehicle and residential burglaries around Effingham.
Authorities arrested 18-year-olds Bretley Langham of Altamont, and Andrew Spelbring of Saint Elmo, and four other juveniles from Effingham, Altamont, and Flora areas.
Officials say the crimes were committed at random without specific targets.
They say the motive was money or property likely to be traded or sold, and to potentially purchase illegal narcotics.
The investigation is ongoing.
