Mattoon Woman Facing Charges after Incident with a Hammer

A Mattoon woman is facing charges after police say she hit a man with a hammer.
23-year-old Stephanie Givins is charged with domestic battery.
Police say they were called to Lakeland Mobile Estates on Friday for a disturbance.
They say minor injuries were reported.
Givins remains in the Coles County jail.
