Arrests Made after Incident at Mattoon Hotel

Two people from Pana are facing charges after an incident at a Mattoon hotel.
Police say last Friday, 43-year-old Claudette Borders and 39-year-old Eldon Borders forced their way into a hotel room on Lakeland Boulevard and assaulted a woman with a gun and stun gun.
Police say minor injuries were reported.
Both suspects were taken to the Coles County Jail and face charges of home invasion and aggravated battery with a firearm.
