There's a new chief in town!
Greg Voudrie has been hired as the village of Kansas' new Police Chief.
The village voted on the position March fourth and says Voudrie will start April first.
Voudrie has more than 25 years of law enforcement experience between the Coles County Sheriff's Office and the Mattoon Police Department.
He also ran for Coles County sheriff last fall.
