Adopt-a-Watt 2024 commemorates the 20th year of Hit-Mix 88.9 FM, and we're still:

We continue to be on the air daily supporting our community by providing a musical and news outlet to entertain and inform the Coles County area.

Our annual Adopt-A-Watt pledge drive begins Sunday, Sept. 15, and runs through Friday, Sept. 20, with a goal of $20,000!

WEIU operates at 88.9 FM with 4000 watts of power. By adopting a watt -- or multiple watts! -- you can be assured that "your" radio station will be able to deliver the programming, news and sports you have come to rely on. You will “own” your watt for one year and become a member of Hit-Mix 88.9 WEIU.
