Monday, 27 January 2020

Another local school may be getting an upgrade in the upcoming year.

Maroa-Forsyth School Superintendent John Ahlemeyer says the school's board of education unanimously voted to place a 33 million dollar referendum on the March 17th ballot to replace the district's middle school.

He says building a new middle school in Maroa has many advantages to better the future learning and needs of the students and community.

Ahlemeyer says if the referendum passes, construction and renovation would begin in the summer of 2021.
