Larson Sentenced

A karate instructor from Altamont will spend nine years behind bars for running off with a 13-year-old female student.
That sentencing against 60-year-old Steven Larson happened earlier today in the Eastern Missouri U-S District Court.
Police say Larson took the teenager to Sikeston Missouri, where they allegedly participated in sexual activity.
Larson is also facing kidnapping and sexual assault charges in Effingham County, and has another court appearance scheduled for February 3rd.
