Arcola high school students may get the chance to take college level courses next year.
The Arcola school board will vote tonight on whether their juniors and seniors can take classes at Parkland College starting in the fall.
Superintendent Tom Mulligan says Parkland provides students with vocational courses the high school can't financially offer.
Mulligan says the program will include courses in criminal justice, computer networking, construction trades, EMT and more.
He says he expects the decision to pass as the board seems in favor of the idea.
